Edinburgh Art Festival & Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop

This beautiful event is in collaboration with and inspired by Ally van Tillo, founder of the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt and a key figure in Edinburgh’s early response to the AIDS epidemic in the late 1980s. There will be two short film screenings, a panel discussion with local activists and researchers and a candlelight procession through Newhaven finishing with a vigil and community choir.

A single panel of the Quilt, in memory of Derek Fraser will then be on display in the window of the EAF offices on the Royal Mile throughout the winter.
